swap outputs

This probably isn't the correct forum, but I'm at a loss on where to ask.

On my laptop, I press Func-F5 to switch between the LCD display and the TV-out display.

What is the equivalent command on my desktop? For the life of me I can't figure it out. I have an ATI Rage Pro. If someone can point me in the right direction I would be forever grateful.

I guess the only relevance is that I plan to use this feature with SageTV.

I think laptops are different than PC's in this regard. I think the monitor selection on a laptop is built into the hardware. On our Toshibas at work you can switch the displays before Windows boots. Frequently, it is auto detected, so that if you are "Docked" you don't have to open your laptop to switch screens, etc.

In a PC, usually you have to configure your multi-monitor setup through the display settings or through the display advanced settings. I believe some video card driver software lets you set up a hot key of your choosing to enable or disable different features.

Good luck.
