Video sluggish, audio slow.
A single, hour-long show was recorded last week, and it's impossible to watch. The video is sluggish and slow, like it's missing 75% of the frames and just fills the space with the other 25%, and the audio is all low and slowed down, like playing a record at the wrong speed. It's for sure the recording, and none of my other recordings have the problem. I had to delete the show, but unfortunately there's no evidence it will be shown again. :|
Ideas?

What was the input? Analog cable, Digital Cable, Satellite?
I had several shows on either Thursday or Friday here on Comcast analog cable. (Connecticut) that had dropouts. The night in question there were big Thunderstorms going through the area (from Mid-Atlantic all the way up through the NE) and my guess is the cable co's were having trouble with their satellite signals. One show, I forget which one had about dropout of about 5 minutes. Mostly completely gone, but every once in a while during that period I'd get sound with some crappy video for split seconds during the sound only portions.

Comcast Basic + Extended Analog Cable, Western Washington.
The show was recorded last Friday night. Unfortunately, the entire file was like this, not just 5 minutes. I've had visual crapouts on the History channel before, but never for an entire hour. =/

I didn't record anything off The History Channel that night in question, but did have quite a few dropouts on other networks (I'm on analog extended basic Comcast too). I'd bet they were having satellite problems due to the weather. I'm not sure where everything comes/goes for your area out there, but we had really bad weather back here in the Eastern US.
