What should happen when a show finishes?
When a show ends, one of three things happens, it asks if the show should be deleted, it goes back to the guide, or it just waits with a black screen. I think I figured out that it only asks if the show should be deleted if it was a one time recording. But, I can't figure out why sometimes it goes back to the guide and sometimes it just waits. Any ideas, thoughts?

I have noticed that recently recorded shows always go back to the guide, while shows I have in the Library stop at the end of the show. I was wondering if this was because a lot of these shows were recorded with an earlier version of SageTV. Haven't tried viewing a recently recorded show in the Library.

The rule's fairly complex, but it's more or less a combination of it'll only kick you back to the EPG once per show, and it won't do it if you've already watched it.

OK, all the skipping around and just briefly looking at a show that I've been doing must be the cause. It won't bother me so much now that I know the reason.
I would prefer it to always go back to the EPG or at least pause on the last frame so that there is a picture and not just a black screen.
