M-Audio Digital Out Problem

Hi I just went out and bought a M-Audio Revolution card and it sounds great except for an annoying bug.

When I am using the Digital Audio Out to
my Decoder whenever the audio is paused for any reason it loops on the last signal sent to it. It is not just in SageTV, but also happens in Windows Media Player.

For now I am using the stereo output on the card, but the main reason I got the card was for Digital Coax Out for DVD Playback.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
John

I believe this a bug in the Revo drivers.... SageTV would thus have nothing to do with it. A good search at http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/forum...?s=&forumid=26 should bring up some discussion.

salsbst,

Thanks for the confirmation. Actually M-Audio Tech Support repsonded to
an e-mail about this problem and said that it was a known issue and their
engineers are working on it. I was pretty sure SageTV had nothing to do
with problem since it happened with wav files in windows media player.

Hopefully they will have a fix soon.

John

If you have a copy of an earlier driver, use that instead. It will get rid of that bug.

Sadly I just bought my card so I do not have any version that is not available on the website. Anyone know where I can get the older driver?

Thanks,
John
