Anyone have a MVP go bad?

Last week my MVP which uses the "regular" Hauppauge software ,that means no Matt's MVPClient (I've tried to install it but keep getting an error I can't figure out) , anyway it really stutters to the unwatchable state.

I figure the router and switch could be the problem but everything seems to be working fine. All internet connects are good and fast and the router and switch show the good lights for 100mps.

Tonight I started a show on the TV with the MPV and than went to the computer/Sage server and opened a TV show and it played perfectly. I go to check on the TV and its still putzing along, a new frame every 5-10 seconds. The performance meter in XP was between 30 and 40 percent.

So I figure the MVP can't keep up since the computer is doing fine, is my logic correct? Any ideas to test further.

Dell 733 GX200 Onboard Video and sound
512 Ram
150 Hauppage card
MVP
Linksys Router and Switch (Computer and MVP in router slots)
Wired network with 3 total computers

MVP is fine, I put a small TV next to my Sage Server and than disconnected the 40 foot wire to the living room TV and the router. Connected the MVP to the TV and a short Cat5 wire to the router and holy cow it works. Run to Radio Shack and get 50 feet of new Cat 5 and the MVP now loads faster and plays great.
