Defrag
I've got a 160G drive with 46% free. But the defrag process return immediatly after starting it with a report that states it can't defrag most of the recording files.
Anybody know how to get around this? Rick... |

What defrag program are you using?

This is a P-I-A, but have you tried booting up into safe mode then trying the defrag process? If you have the chance, download the trial version of Diskeeper 9 HERE I've always had great performance with their software. Be sure and configure it to "set it and forget it" for "after hours" (or a custom schedule) or else it'll begin to defrag while you're watching a show and cause stuttering...
