Hauppauge PVR Stops Recording Audio

Every once in a while after a month or so one of my tuners stops recording audio and I get a whole bunch of programs without audio but perfect video. Rebooting the computer fixes the problem but I wonder why it happens at all? I have a PVR 250 and a PVR 150. The 250 is the older of the two. I suspect maybe overheating but I'm not sure.

I did have a fan going out and have since replaced it. My HTPC is in an Antec Sonata case with two 120mm fans. The two cards are in adjacent slots. I haven't gotten around to separating them a bit better. I'll eventually do that when I reinstall XP.

I thought I'd try and get some opinions to try and nail down this problem and see if anyone else has had similar issues.

BTW, this problem has been ongoing even before I had two tuners and has affected either tuner at various times.
