Sage and USB-UIRT

I just setup a Sage Client with a USB-UIRT and went through the process for Sage to learn all of the remote commands. But I have a strange thing happening that I hope someone can help with.

Some commands like UP and DOWN work just fine but others like LEFT require that I press the LEFT button on the remote 2 times. There are several commands that are acting this way.

Has anyone got an idea of what is going on?

What type of remote are you using? I assume you've already tried to remap the ones that aren't working correctly?

Is the remote sending the same code everytime you press the button? Some remotes have 2 codes for each button. You must link both codes to the command in Sage for the remote to work properly or you will have to press the button multiple times until the correct code is sent.

I using a Hauppauge 34 button silver remote. If some button use multiple codes, how do you know when you have them entered correctly?

If you just teach each one twice, you should be fine.

I have no idea if your remote has multiple codes (never used that remote before). As salsbst said, if you teach each one twice you'll probably be ok.

When setting up the remote you should see a number displayed when you press the button, if the number changes when you press the button again then you have multiple codes for each button. If that's the case then when you view the commands linked to sage you should see both numbers listed for the command.
