I need help and suggestions

I need some help and suggestions as how to proceed. I am a longtime user of Sage (8/04) and up until now it has been a fairly smooth process. However, with the new update (v4) I have been having daily crashes of Sage. Not typical crashes, but really horrific ones. Usually happens during playback, however, several times at rest or scheduling new shows etc.

During several of them, I have been able to get to task manager (after a battle of will) and saw that SageTV.exe is pulling 99k of usage, and unable to end process. Working fine prior to upgrade from v2.2 to v4. Since the problem started (after about two weeks on a reformat/reinstall on an XP box) I have:

1. Reinstalled Java
2. Reinstalled Sage
3. Upgraded video drivers

Specs:
Intel 3.0
1k RAM
ATI 9800 Pro
PVR-250
PVR-500 MCE

I'm going to rollback to Sage 2.2 tonight and hope that the problem goes away. I love the new interface of v4... it's a nice change, but the WAF is at an all-time low after multiple shows haven't recorded due to lock-ups, and lockups during playback.

Anybody have any thoughts?
