First Runs marked as reruns

I know I have mentioned this in the past, but this is really not cool. When I was using Digicasa's plugin I was not encountering these situations every. But since switching to Sage's inbuilt Canadian listing I see it all the time.

I am looking at shows which are almost always fristruns in a certain time slot, yet the epg is saying the original air date is some completely unrelated date years ago.

Is this a problem with bad information provided to Sage from it's listing sources? Or is it something wrong with Sage tv?

All I know is, if there is a know solution, such as the one in Lester's plugin, then why can't Sage use the same solution??
