Minor tearing with 4.0
I upgraded from 2.2.8 to 4.0 over the past couple of days and am now experiencing minor tearing on pans. (I used Overlay before, so I could've had tearing then, too). I'm surprised/concerned because my system specs seem like they should be enough to run VMR without tearing. Here's what I have:
Sage Client box Athlon XP 3000+ 512 mb RAM at 333 mhz NVidia 6600 AGP Latest NVidia drivers Latest NVidia decoder Running FSE in Sage Any suggestions on things to check first? |

Same effects, sometimes with a little stuttering. My config is similar exact as yours but i run a Pentium IV @ 3 GHz. Had these effects with all betas and release candidates of 3.0 but NOT with 2.2.8 and before.

I am also having video problems as of this version. No tearing, per se, but video that just pauses for a second, then does a fast catch-up and continues.... does this about every 60 seconds or so..
I have an old GeForce 4 440MX

I have VMR9 selected in Sage, 3d accelleration enabled, and FSE enabled. My menus are semi-transparent (very cool). So I think I'm using VMR9.
