Encoder/decoder weirdness?
Hi all,

Recently I've begun to see this fluttering of a nine box motif randomly around the screen throughout my playbacks. Anyone know what's going on here, or how to fix it?

That would be the non-registered Elecard decoder "nagware". You'll either have to register those decoders or switch to different ones.

Ahhh....
Ok, right then. Thanks for the info.

Any suggestions on other MPEG2 decoder codecs? ffdshow?

For film, it's probably a tossup, for video (especially if you've got a Geforce 6/7) then it's nVidia no question.
