|
no sound from tuner input on my PVR500
Hey guys,
I get sound when i record from tuner 1 using s-video/stereo audio cable, but for tuner 2 when i record (straight from analog cable via rf tuner-in) i get picture but no sound. Any ideas?

Has tuner 2 audio ever recorded or is this a new installation? It just may be defective. If your PVR500 came with the adapter I'd switch the analog to tuner 1 and svid to tuner 2 to see if tuner 2 will then record audio. Just a troubleshooting thought...

it is a brand new card...but i just figured it out when i saw a vague reference to the latest drivers people having issues with them in general...tried a different version and BAAM...sound from both
 thanks for the help thoughnow i just have to start tweaking it to get the best picture
