Font Size On recording Schedule Screen

On the above screen, because the font is too large the date gets truncated like below:

Wed 09/...

I am using Dynamic Customisable Main Menu by nielm, I have edited Sage.properties and lowered the font sizes below but it doesn't seem to have made any difference.

ui/epg_font_size=16
ui/base_font_size=16

Am I missing something? Can someone let me know the font size to change.

Thanks

Unless that import changed it, ui/base_font_size is the one I think you'll want to change. Perhaps you didn't clsoe SageTV completely before editing the properties file? Or, maybe you are using the service & therefore need to edit sageclient.properties for the UI settings.

Hi Andy

changing sageclient properties ui/base_font_size=16 worked.

I'm not using the client but full the sage. I was closing the recording service as I know it will not work editing the .properties with this running. Also, sage.properties already had ui/base_font_size=16.

I thought sageclient properties was for just sage client?????

Anyway, thanks for your help.

That's somewhere in the manual -- I don't have it open at the moment. (Should be ch. 2, where the details about the service are located.)

Anyway... in service mode, you don't have to close the service to change UI features since 1) the service has no UI (doesn't even use an STV) and 2) you'll be editing sageclient.properties for UI tweaks.

OK Andy, thanks. Will have a look at chapter 2 in the manual as you suggest.
