Sagge doesn't know that a scheduled favorite is "going to be recorded"
Anyone else notice that if you go into your recording schedule and select a favorite flagged for recording in the future, the Record option for it shows up as "Record" instead of "Cancel Recording"
To cancel a scheduled recording you have to first (incorrectly) say you want to record it again (by selecting the "Record" item, and then when the option changes, you can select "Cancel Recording" The worst part is that after removing a specific single item, it often shows up again in the schedule! I believe you have to set it as watched for Sage to not schedule it again. If you hit record, then cancel record, Sage thinks that something went wrong, You didn't get the episode and want it because you haven't "WATCHED" it yet.

If it's already scheduled to be recorded, then selecting the show from the schedule shouldn't show a "record " option. It's already set for record. You can't double-record it. To be context-sensitive it should say "Cancel Recording"
I did it to a show a few minutes ago and it did not come back. I've only ever seen it come back once (but thought it might be happening all the time). Setting it to watched isn't the correct thing to do because cancelling a recording doesn't mean it's been watched. It means I don't want to record that instance. That should still allow that episode to be picked up another time (depending on the rules of the favorite). Bruno |

Choosing record sets it as a manual recording vs it being a favorite or other type of recording and brings its priority to the top above any other kind of automatic recording.

Like the others have said: the "record" option is shown because it isn't a Manual Recording -- it is an automatic (favorite) recording. You can't cancel a fav, so there is no such option. The only way to currently prevent a fav airing from recording is to set it as Watched, Don't Like, or mark a different airing of that episode as a Manual Recording.

Then it should probably say "Make Manual" or similar rather than the generic "Record" which implies that it's not already scheduled to record....

Do you have the feature turned on that will show recording status in lists?
Setup/Customize/Show Recordings Status Marker Icons In Lists Set that to yes, and it will show in your scheduled recordings list, guide/etc, if it's scheduled to record as well as showing the type of favorite (first run, all, etc). I think you have a point though. Maybe "Record" should be re-labeled "Manual Record" in the menu.

Yup, I have that enabled. So I know when something is set to record or not.
