Exclamation Sage freezing up during playback with new NVidia drivers

I updated my NVidia GeForce drivers today to the lastest version and now when I play back recordings Sage freezes up after a random amount of time. Anyone else having this problem? Anyone have a solution (other than going back to the old drivers)?

I had that happening. Have you got an on board graphics capabaility as well as the nvidia card? Make sure it is disabled in the BIOS

SageTV Freezing up

I am experiencing the same problem. The freeze appears to happen after about 11 minutes of play. And happens only on certain DVD files. Any help would be appreciated. The same files when played under WinDVD - outside of SageTV - work just fine. I am currently on SageTV 2.2

I found my problem. It had to do with the DVD VOB files being larger than 1GB. Once I recoded the VOB files and broke them into 1GB chunks, the freeze problem went away. This may not be the solution for other freeze problems but nevertheless VOB file size is worth checking.
