Is anyone working on a Instant Messenger or Email stvi? I really wish there were more people as talented and giving as Nielm so we could see new features like this..

Oh, great just what we all need, you're in the middle of watching a show and suddenly the actor blurts out "You've got mail". None for me thanks.

That's the great thing about STV's and STVi's though. There are lots of them out there and you can install only the ones you like.

The one I want is the "send 50k volts back through phone line" STVi for when you get you get a telemarketer. (and yes, I'm on the national and CT do not call lists)

I often use a line that I stole from Seinfeld:

When the telemarketer has finished the opening pitch I say something like "You know what? I'm just a bit busy right now, why don't you give me your name and home phone number and I'll call you back later tonight."

Of course they will always reply that I can't call them at their home whereupon I retort, "Well, then don't call me at my home!"

I'd vote for Email and Messenger plugins as well. They should be configurable so as not to be intrusive upon the viewing experience. An icon appears in the menu system for new email and the messenger client could be set so that it either would not interupt any playing video/audio or use a brief and small pop-up. Both would have to take user accounts into consideration so it would be helpful if Sage were to integrate user profiles and security.

I would also like to see an integrated web browser as well.
