Thoughts on ATI AIW Card
Just curious ... Any thoughts on the ATI AIW X 800XT?

for use in sage? Haven't tried the aiw cards with the current RC but i had trouble with an older AIW when it was first anounced they were supporting software encoding cards.

According to MaximumPC the ATI X800GT and XL's "MPEG-2 video performance pales in comparison" to the comparable GeForce cards. The 6600GT and 6800GT both get rated higher for everything except gaming.

He mentioned an All-In-Wonder card, which comes with video captuing support, so those GeForces wouldn't be a good substiture since I don't think they come in video capture flavours.

Yes ... It's the All-In Wonder ... and it's the 800XT, not GT ...
Wondering (pardon the pun) if anyone knew how it stacks up performance-wise, as an added SW Encoded Tuner Card and for capture quality. Thanks, T. |
