Just curious ... Any thoughts on the ATI AIW X 800XT?

Thanks, T.

According to MaximumPC the ATI X800GT and XL's "MPEG-2 video performance pales in comparison" to the comparable GeForce cards. The 6600GT and 6800GT both get rated higher for everything except gaming.

He mentioned an All-In-Wonder card, which comes with video captuing support, so those GeForces wouldn't be a good substiture since I don't think they come in video capture flavours.

Ah, I was thinking playback, not capture. Thanks for clarifying.

Yes ... It's the All-In Wonder ... and it's the 800XT, not GT ...

Wondering (pardon the pun) if anyone knew how it stacks up performance-wise, as an added SW Encoded Tuner Card and for capture quality.

Thanks, T.
