any reviews of media (mp3, photo) functions?
Hi,
I'm interested in sagetv, but probably more for the remote-friendly windows MCE like interface for mp3, photo, and dvd functions than tv functions at this point, and was wondering if anyone could comment on those features in the Sagetv software? thanks

I second this. I would like to use Sage as a complete media center solution, and I could find nothing on the website except a line that says it plays MP3's. Does it play movie files not recorded through Sage? Does it play jpg photo's as a slideshow?

The newest version 1.4.8 ReleaseCandidate1, released yesterday, has full support for MP3s, video/music files and DVDs.
It does have minimal picture support, but its not enabled by default because its very minimal. We will be doing full picture support in a near future release. The beta versions are at: http://sage.tv/beta.html

You cheated!!! That screenshot wasn't there ealier today! When I viewed the site earlier the last screenshot was the Julia Roberts search thingy. But thanks though.

Just add the main MP3 directory and SageTV will pick up all the sub-directories.
