Hello,

I currently have a basic 301 receiver from Dish Network. I would like to be able to enjoy features that a dvr/pvr would provide, but with SageTV technology. What exactly would I need?

If you go for dual tuner setup you need get a pair of IR emitter and Stereo 1/8 mini jack and solder on the IR emitter wire or need find Stereo 1/8 with ture Left and Right 1/8 Mono Jack.
You can used any remote control you want but some people like SnapStream Firefly or Hauppauge new 45 buttom remote.
Lot of diskspace.
Video card this well depend on your motherbaord on weather or not you need AGP or PCIe most folks just buy the Nvidia card GeForce 5/6/7.
Some folks here just buy the nVDVD decoder other then you don't need buy and decoder unless you want play DVD Disc.
