hauppauge remote + ir.exe vs netmote+girder?

I am currently using sagetv version 2. I have all the basic stuff running. I recently read on the forums how to use the ir.exe program, a new updated irremote.ini along with my hauppauge 43 button remote to control SageTV. It seems to be working nicely.

Longer term, I am hoping to use a new Dell Axim 50v and NetRemote + Girder to control SageTV as well as other app's on the HTPC.

However, I was wondering if I (or visitors to the HTPC room) can continue to use the hauppauge remote (along with ir.exe), and I can use Netremote+Girder. Or will there be a conflict there...

Just wondering if anyone has gone down this road before?

Thanks

If you are not trying to control the same IR receiver w/Girder, then I don't see why there would be any sort of conflict. But, perhaps someone else knows of other issues you might run into?
