Then you follow the on-screen instructions ("Enter the location to search for. Use a zip code, postal code, or city name") and enter a city name instead. If you also don't know the name of any cities nearby, then I can't help you.

You have to enter something that weather.com can use for its search.

I'm willing to listen to a better description than "English". "Standard" doesn't work, since some parts of the world think that the choices of "Standard" and "Metric" are redundant for some strange reason. Weather.com lets you choose "English" or "Metric", so that's what I chose.
I still think the v3 weather system is "pretty simple" to configure.
