Network drives are gone
I suspect my prior posting regarding the pauses and oddball problems with SageTV are related to the fact that my network based UNC storage in SageTV is no longer working. The shared drive is still there in the multimedia directories page, but SageTV hasn't stored a single show out there since I installed 3.0.13.
I've deleted the network connection from the directory list and rebooted the machine, made sure I could connect to my network server via Windows via a mapped drive, then I attempted to scan the network. It showed *2* of the 5 servers that I have on my network, yet all Windows boxes can see eachother without issue. If I manually attempt to enter in the UNC pathname, SageTV tells me the directory doesn't exist, and fails. Any thoughts on how I can get SageTV working with my network drives again? They're critical to my operation, here. Thanks! -->Neil |

Are you using the service? If so, see p. 15 of the current v3 manual, where it talks about having the service log in asa user w/a password to access network locations. Then, you have to make sure the user has permission to use those locations.

Yes, I'm aware of that, and yes I'm using the service. It worked perfectly with 3.0.11 and stopped with 3.0.13's installation. I have access to the remote machine in question since the machine in question has no username/password required to read/write files. Not only that, when I click on "network", the machine does not show up, yet I can mount a network drive and browse through Windows explorer with absolutely no problems and access that machine with several other machines on the same subnet.
What is Sage using as an SMB client, anyway? -->Neil |

I have also been having issues with my network drives. I was getting continuous pausing and stuttering during playback. I noticed my cpu usage during this time droped to 0. Then the next day my network drives were gone. I can access them from any other computer, just not the one sage is running on. I am not running sage as a service. The networked machine is using SMB.
