Hauppauge remote and client problem

I have been using the Hauppauge remotes with both my Sage server and Client and with the help of OPUS, everything has been perfectly wonderful with them. Then I had a problem and re-installed SageTV and then SageTVClient on 2nd PC. I copied over my backup files, properties, Wiz, IR files and irremote.ini...

Everything works fine on Server and everything except for the Red button works on the Client:

RED={run(C:\Progra~1\FreyTe~1\SageTV\SageTVClient.exe)}

I can not tell what's wrong here but I get an "Application not Found" error message when hitting the RED button.

The path to the file is as follows:

C:\Program Files\Frey Technologies\SageTV\SageTVClient.exe

My blue, Yellow and Green buttons work fine. Any ideas as to why?

Check the actual short filename path to that exe. If the dir was renamed/recreated/whatever, the short filename could have changed. You can open a command prompt and use "dir /x" too see the short filenames.

Thanx Opus, When I renamed my original Frey Technologies directory to Frey Technologies BAK it obviously keeps the freyte~1. Then installed Client in a fresh directory which would take on the freyte~2. Been a very long time since I had to deal with short filenames and my brain must have farted. Thanx for clearing up my smelly head.....
