Maybe a dumb question..

For over a year I have just been installing new versions of Sage over the old ones, keeping Wiz and Properties. With the release of 3.0.13, I took a chance and did a clean install in C:\Programfiles\SageTV. It took a while to cut and paste the old IR codes into properties, add channel logos, etc. My question is: All of my recordings now show up as "imported videos: instead of sage recordings. Is there a way to convert them back, or are they destined to stay imported videos? It's no big deal, as they are still playable.
Thanks to all the smart guys here!
Rob
P.S. 3.0.13 is faster, and I really like the changes to the UI.

Once you've cleared out your old wiz.bin file, you've removed all of your viewing history, Favorites, info for existing recordings, etc., and there is no way to get the old info back for those previously recorded shows.

I suggest keeping your old wiz.bin, even if you start with fresh properties files.

CHeck what directory SageTV got installed to.

When I did the install I had to change the install directory to c:\Program Files\Frey Technologies\ to make it work. By default it was going to c:\Program Files\SageTV and then I went and looked and a directory called c:\Program Files\Frey Technologies had the WIz.bin and properties.

I kept a backup of my Wiz.bin, can I just copy it back to the folder even though it's a different folder (SageTV instead of Frey Technologies)? I thought there may be some references in it to the old folder locations.
Thanks,
Rob

jptaz, I wanted to "get with the program" and move the files to SageTV, as all new updates will probably automatically install there. I'm going to try to drop my old Wiz.bin there and see what happens.
Thanks,
Rob

That did the trick! Just copied and pasted old Wiz.bin from a CD backup made last night, and all my Sage recordings are back with details, color bars showing time watched, etc.
Thanks to all for the solution. I really appreciate the support that this forum provides.
Thanks again,
Rob
