PVR-150 connectors

Due to a major lightning strike my PVR-350 has been damaged and can't record audio so I need to replace it. I've hated it since day 1 due to audio sync issues and find this to be a great time to downgrade to a better card like the 150, but is the input cable for the audio the same?

I'd like to get things ready for the card and I'm hoping the cables are the same here. If not it's just more work is all. In a similar vein are there any known issues on a multi-threaded CPU with this card?

Not sure what the inputs for audio/video are on a 350 (as I have never owned one) but I can tell you that audio inputs for the 250&150 are RCA.
Not sure what "issues on a multi-threaded CPU" you are referring to as I have had 0.00% issues with any version of sagetv with either of these cards.
In one box I have both a pvr250 and pvr150 working harmoniously.

Amen. I sold my 350 within a month of buying it. Too many bugs in that card! PVR-500MCE works perfectly for me so far and PQ is excellent. Haven't missed the so-called "superior" 350 one bit!

I agree, it's superior only in price and failures.

That said, the AV inputs are basically the same and I was able to use my old cables. The PITA part was after I got the PVR150 card up and running, I had lost the EXETuner plugin stuff for my GI sat receiver and had to redo that and my program guide for C Band. I'm not really looking forwards to when I get my 4DTV receiver because I'll have a lot more coding work to be done at that point.

In the end it appears that the PVR150 is a pretty solid card and it's working fine. I imagine once I get my PJ back up and running I'll have to do a few tweaks, but so far I like it much better than the 350.
