A problem in Sage Beta 3.0.11 that previously didn't exists

When scanning back or forth, the image is either frozen waiting for the audio to catch up with where it is, or the audio is fine and the video stutters in a weird way.

This also affects uato commercial skipping in that it will skip the commercial, go into the weird stutter and also be far beyond the commercial end segment.

I am using the correct DirectX 9 files.

A problem still existing since previous betas is that every now and then when choosing to watch a video, switch channels, listen to music, whatever; the sage spinning logo comes up and Sage just hangs. Most times it is at 100% CPU utilization. It doesn't make any sense, none of the files or functions accessed would require that utilization. It is like Sage still has major memory and resource management issues.

This is not a widespread problem, as many of us are getting near perfect performance on SD, I am assuming you are talking about SD and not HD since you mentioned comskip.
You didnt mention which codec you were using but the problem you describe is very often related to the codec/rendering/dx accel settings you choose -- or some other process that is running, like com detection, etc.

I get the same problem when scanning back and forth... image frozen but you can hear audio. You have to kep pressing FF RR to release the bug. Never had this in 2.2.8. Specs are below

For me, Yes! I tested with the SageTV codec and it does the same.
Even with my Intervideo codec.
