Question Black borders in recorded video

Hi!

I have this setup:
- Digital cable box (Scientific atlanta explorer 2000)
- Pvr-150 (source: s-video in)
- Sage TV 2.2

The recorded video file have a vertical black border in the right side. After tweaking sage tv aspect ratio (offset setting) I noticed there where no change at all in the reccorded file.

Its then that i realized that it`s the s-video output of my Explorer 2000 that seem to be the problem. the information box that appear when i change channel (the one generated by the Explorer 2000) it centered , but on some channel, the channel picture in align to the left, some are worst then others...

Is there a way to set the offset setting of my digital receiver ? and if not what program could I use to remove this black boarder for show that I want to archive on dvd and/or convert to divx?
