Driver not found?
I bought the pvr-150 and it has been working fine. I saw that there was a driver update on the hauppague website. I did what it said: run "this program" to delete previous drivers and applications, than I unzipped the files from the next program and rebooted the computer. I clicked on the install from specific location and put in the folder where I extracted the files like it said. It than said that the drivers were not installed!!! It said that it might say that, but to just run the next program anyways. Did everything and it still said drivers not installed and when i load sagetv it says "no video capture device found". Now it also says that driver cannot be found even when I put the hauppauge wintv-pvr cd in. I have done these steps about 5 times so far. I looked around for a long time on what else to do but I can't find anything. If someone might know how I could fix this please tell me.

You may have to go in the Device Manager, double-click on the PVR-150 and go to update driver. Then browse to the location that you extracted the files to and it should be able to find the drivers there. Try that to see if it works.

I did that already, it didn't work. I forgot to mention that right next to where it used to say something like pvr150 or something like that it doesn't show a picture. Just a yellow question mark, and it says unknown.

Maybe you downloaded the wrong driver then? If you just want the driver and not the whole WinTV suite, you can get a driver from www.shspvr.com in the Download section. Try running the hwclear that you probably downloaded from the Hauppauge site and try installing the driver manually from shspvr.

I took out the tuner and put it back in. Now it works. I didn't try that cause I thought it was just a permanent problem with the tuner.
