Video Cards For Analog TV's

If you're building a media server to be used only on a standard analog TV with only video and SVideo inputs, is there really any advantages in putting a high end video card in the server?

There's no real benefit to putting a high end card in even if you are hooking it to a HDTV... I have a radeon 9550 (which is pretty far from high end) in mine running at 1920x1080 (or occasionally 1776x1000 depending on my mood and the phase of the moon. )
