Imported Video - Show Info Lookup

I've modified the Imported Video Files menu to see if the file name matches the show and episode names of a recording in SageTV's history; if it does then it will show the guide data for it in the Video Detail screen. It's not necessary to have the whole name that SageTV gave it.

Example:
Instead of "TheSimpsons-MillhouseofSandandFog-3095746-0"
you could have "TheSimpsons-MillhouseofSandandFog"
or even: "The simpsons: millhouse of sand and fog"

I'm making a poll to see how much interest there is in it, if there isn't much this feature won't be carried forward after the next SageTV update.

Instructions:
1. Install the latest SageTV V3 beta.
2. Download malore3.11-4.zip
3. unzip malore3.zip and place malore3.stv into the same folder as the new SageTV3.stv. Probably somewhere like Program Files\(Frey Technologies or SageTV)\SageTV\STVs\SageTV3.
4. Then load it in SageTV under Setup -> Detailed Setup -> Advanced -> SageTV Application Package.
5. Enjoy

That's just evil!

ShowAnalyzer uses that number at the end to get information from nielm's webserver so the correct settings profile and be selected automatically and determining whether to process the file (for "Do Not Process" channels).

/me gives evil scowl...

SageTV still uses the numbers, I was just indicating that if, for example, someone converted a show to divx and wanted to use this feature it isn't necessary to keep the extra numbers and spacing format.

Hmm, looks like it's gotten a couple more positive votes, maybe I'll add it back in v3.13 stv.

I have thousands of episodes in my imported video folders and when I cut out the commercails I leave out the extra numbers, this would be more of a godsend for me. Something I'd even donate or pay for.

@Malore,

I am still using 2.2.8 but I am thinking about setting some time this weekend to install latest version. I currently use Cayars version 17 STV because of it's External Video Player capabilities(So I can view AVC MP4 files). Does your STV allow this? Also, if you know, if I upgrade Sage will I be able to keep my Wiz.bin and Properties file?
