How to use ComSkip with 3.0.11?

After enabling some of the back-end UI "secrets", using 5309.

I see I can do a ComSkip processing for a particular show under recordings, but the "Enable background processing" under the new custom menu isn't there like it is in the Wiki...

Also, after installing ComSkip (to SageTV dir), and it does the background processing, I see the new TXT files, but after restarting the show, I don't see any purple segments in the timeline.

Even with the 5309 UI enabler, it seems like I still need some new STV's?

Could someone point me out the best way to do this with 3.0.11 is? With 2.2.8 its more obvious (just follow instructions on the wiki).

In the post covering the extras, it states that the default STV only has the option to show the ComSkip option in the malore menus... no ComSkip support of any other kind is included, which is why those options are initially turned off.

You would have to use another STV or some import to make use of ComSkip.

Thank's for the information. I read that, but I was making an assumption that "no ComSkip support" could of ment just that it didn't ship with ComSkip.exe. It is clear though, I just misinterpreted it.

Jsid, note that I've had best results with enabling the extras in the default STV, and then changing to Malore's stv. I dont know if this was just me or not, but at this point Im like the baseball players who never change their jock...
