Guide Animated Scrolling issues in 1.47?

Hi,

After I upgraded to the 1.47 beta, the animated scrolling seems to never complete the last step in the scroll. Then when I use the oppsite direction key it jumps to the position it should be. Makes my head spin and I thought it was my client PC [maybe I messed something up]. So, I disabled the EPG animation. But today I was using the server for a long while and I noticed it there as well.

Anyone else see this?

Was there ever a solution posted for this, or will this be taken care of in future release?

I skimmed that whole thread but didn't see a solution to this... which has become somewhat annoying of late.

Well Jeff acknowledges it so I'd guess it will be fixed in the next release.(He's been fairly quiet the last few days, so the final release is probably about to come out.) It's not really bad on my box. I have to scroll as fast as possible to see it at all.

As for a fix, I haven't seen one. But there is a workaround. Turning off EPG Animation in SETUP>DETAILED SETUP>Multimedia tab works for most people. On my box with this setting off I can't get SageTV to lose scroll sync no matter how hard I try. Hope this helps.

This is fixed for the next build.

As you found, disabling EPG Animation will fix it until then.
