Question PCI graphics card advice

I've searched for forums but haven't managed to find a clear answer to my question.

I'm putting together a box to run SageTV (Celeron D 2.8GHz, unfortunately no AGP slot) and need to find a good PCI graphics card with s-video TV-out. The machine will be dedicated to running Sage, no gaming etc.

I'm going to be using an analog TV (no HDTV etc.).

Will a Geforce FX5200 do the job? Any advantage in getting a FX5500 versus the 5200? Does memory make any difference (128MB vs 256MB)?

Or would an ATI card be better?

Answers are greatly appreciated.

thank you!

Thomas

I have a similar setup, standard cable, no HD, 1.2ghz machine w/ 512 Ram and PCI video. I bought this card because it was cheap and looked like what I needed. Works great and it was cheap.

Shhh! That's the card I have in my main box! So yeah I would assume that would also work if you have one already available.
