ERROR(-2): Files Selected...

Here's the story:

Got 3.07 Installed on 3rd try last night.
Sage recorded 11 programs on a network drive since last night.
The files are there. I can play them outside of SageTV fine.

Everytime I try to play these new files or old files in SageTV I get:

ERROR(-2): Files selected for playback are no longer on disk
SageTV shows the recording file size as 0.00GB but they acually range from 1.5GB to 3.2GB

I have 6 drives I record to. 3 on the main sage server and 3 network drives. Files on the server record and play fine.
Files on the network drives record fine but do not play.

All UNC paths.
All machines have identical usernames and passwords.

Ideas anyone?

running as service? if so, sounds like it is running as 'localsystem' account, instead of a user account, and that will cause the issue you have.

It sounds like the permissions settings need to be checked for whatever user it is.

Very good advice. Didn't occur to me as 3.07 could create files and even delete them but not play them. odd.

I added the specific user to the shares although this worked fine in 2.28 as it was configured.

I set sage to run as the same user- had to do this in services.msc as the sage service control app would not accept the password even though it was correct. It didn't occur to me this wouldn't carry forward from 2.28
