Well, did you by any chance install sage client? What are you tryign to do? If you are only running sage on one system you do not want the client. Just the plain sagetv..If you already have the server side setup, then you are trying to run the client---just enter the name/ip of the computer the server is running on.
So, if you dont' need the client, install sagetv and it should work JUC
