sagetv and gbpvr on one pc

I have 3 mediapvr boxes in my house. My two sister want to use gbpvr but I like sagetv. We have only one computer. My question is, is there a way to run both sagetv and gbpvr server on one computer? How do I set so my room will connect to sagetv and my sisters room connect to gbpvr server? Thanks

No. You can run one or the other. Either app will grab control of your tuner cards and not let the other one use it. Unless you set each app up for a seperate tuner card.

Then yes it will work, just map the paths of your sage recordings using the video library area or use one the plugins available.

Go ahead and try. But I'm pretty sure when you run the GBPVR for the MediaMVP it is assuming you want all the functionallity it provides so it will grab the tuner card.

Actually it wont if you do not setup any tuners in the config program. Once you do then all bets are off.
