WinTV-PVR-250 revision identification?
I have been using SageTV for years and have a single Hauppauge PVR-250 card in my HTPC. I don't remember the revision at the time, but it was a "16" and not a "15". I would have to pull up some old posts to remember what that meant, but I was pretty happy at the time to have the correct one as some people indicated.
I want to hit eBay again and purchase another. Is there a particular revision I should look for, or stay away from? Does anyone have a list of PVR-250 revisions, good or bad, and a way to indentify them? Thanks, Robert

You can go to shs site to identify the PVR model. The primary difference is that type 15 cards have a heatsink and the type 16 cards do not. At one time you could not mix a type 15 with a type 16 in the same computer but that problem has been solved with the current drivers.
