Question Little help pls

Since my orginal sageTV got flooded, I'm trying to create a new unit, but hitting alot of problems, so I decided to post rather than pull my hair out.

Okay I got a Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-USB model 602 (yea cheap one, but all i can afford right now)

So i install drivers, then SageTV 3.07B.

When I run the config I find alot of the menus are funny looking and sometimes cannot see txt.
When I get the inferface options, i set it to medium/basic (or what ever the second lowest is) it disabled, 3D accerlation. This fixes the menus. (Might I siggest this as first option in future releases?)

When finishing the setup, I saw the TV fine in the test box, but when I try to watch tv, it produces wavy lines of grey (static i guess) and static in the sound.

Comp specs:
XP PRO (also can boot into mandrake 10)
Dell 5100
P4: 2.66 GH
512 RAM
Mobility Radeon 7500 (64 MB i believe)
Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-USB model 602
100% updated, direct X, windows, even office.
did not install the optional software with the TV tuner, only the drivers

Little Help?
And I love your product!

AFIAK, that tuner isn't supported, the USB2 (Model 941) is supported. If you can return it do, you can get a PVR 150 for about the same price.

Like stanger89 said: you want the WinTV-PVR-USB2, not the WinTV-USB2. The PVR models use a hardware encoder.
