Tune a tuner card with command line?
Does anyone know if it is possible to use a tuner card (like a pvr-150) and to then configure sage to change channel via the command line? I know I can set it to tune the tuner card or a supported IR plugin, but what about command line? Is it possible?

I'm not sure what you mean; there is a plugin called ExeTunerPlugin which allows you to configure any executable file of your choice that will be called whenever Sage tries to change channel, passing the channel number to which Sage is trying to change as a parameter. You could make the executable be anything you like, from the simplest batch file to some huge application, for changing channel.
And you apply it to each tuner separately, so it only gets called when it is trying to change channel on that particular tuner, if you see what I mean. Sorry if that wasn't what you were asking! |

That's exactly what I wanted to hear! Thanks!
Reason I ask is that I have finally gotten channel changing and recording working over firewire. But as of yet I do not have an HDTV so i only do SD recordings. If I get a pvr-150 then I could connect my STB to it, and control it using firewire instead of my usb-uirt.
