Required Hardware for setup

I'm a newbie so please excuse me if these are obnoxious questions. I spent a hour or two searching for answers but couldn't find them. (I'm search retarded).

I'm interested in buying sage tv but I want to budget for hardware I'm going to need to set up my entire house. My plan is to have 1 4 tuner box (a 3 Ghz HT p4) that will serve a possible 6 TVs on the house. I also want HD capability for my front project home theater. I can run all but 2 of the TVs on a 10/100 LAN but the other 2 would need to be over wireless (don't have the cat 5 runs). My questions are:

Will 802.11b be fast enough if only one tv is running or do I need a g network?

What do I need to get HDTV record and play? (will be to a sony VPL HS-51)

I'm going to get service through Charter Communications and I'd like digital. I assume this means I'll need to connect 4 digital converters to serial ports?

If I only get analog service I assume I just plug it in and go...

The most important: What is the minimum hardware needed for a client? I'm assuming I'll need a client computer for every TV, what do people typically do for this?

What is the best card set up for 4 tuners to offload the most CPU to the cards?

Thanks for your time,
Brian
