No sound on some shows sagetv 2.2.8

This is a curious problem that I recently came across. I have two TV Tuners: Hauppauge 250 and ATI TV Wonder Elite. On some of the shows recorded with ATI TV Wonder Elite, there is no sound. It's fine most of the time but once in a while, there are shows with no sound. It's not specific to any channel, and this seems to be happening randomly. No such problems on Hauppauge 250. Any idea what's going on here?
