v3.0.7 built in plugins?

I just loaded 3.0.7 over my v2.4 setup (that's been working well for over 6 months). When going through the setup the only tuner plugin that shows up is directtv serial tunner even though I have hauppauge blaster and usb-uirt both installed. Once I go through the setup I can train sage to respond to the usb-uirt inputs from my remote but I still can't select any other tuner plugin option (and I want to use usb-uirt or the hauppauge IR as my direct TV setup does not work with serial control). I've reloaded sage, usb-uirt, and hauppauge IR blaster software to no avail... Am I missing something simple? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Are you using service mode? If so, try it w/o using the service to see what happens. Maybe the service isn't being allowed to use those devices for some reason.

I was using service mode. I disabled and it didn't make a difference. I then copied over my backup sage 2.2 setup and now it also only shows the directtv serial plugin. It looks like I really messed something up.

Double check the installation directories -- make sure it is installed where you think it is & that there is a "Common" directory at the same level as the "SageTV" dir. Below Common should be "RemoteCodes" & then other sub dirs below that, including one for "USB-UIRT Transceiver" -- i.e.: "<install dir>\Common\RemoteCodes\USB-UIRT Transceiver"

yep:

C:\Program Files\Frey Technologies\Common\RemoteCodes\USB-UIRT Transceiver

as well as the ACTiSYS and MultiDCTuner plugins I've used in the past. but nothing shows up as an option under Sage. I don't really want to do a completely clean install but I'm getting to that point pretty quick. Any ideas before I go that far?

The default install dir changed, so what I meant was to double check that SageTV was really installed where you thought it was & that the dirs are still as they should be. (You might have done that already; I'm just not sure.)

Try saving your properties files some place, delete the originals & their autobackups, then restart to reconfigure completely. You can always restore your saved properties files if that doesn't help.

Other than that, I'm not sure what to suggest.

reloaded everything and feel like I'm almost there... one problem however. I'm using the Hauppauge IR blaster to control my older DTV box (no serial available) through setting up directly in Sage. After about 20-30 minutes however Sage loses the ability to change channels until I reboot the computer.

Anyone else see any similar problems?

I'm trying to research now using EXEtuner through Girder and my USB-UIRT but most of the directions in this forum are dated. I found the zip file but am stuck getting Girder to see the command from Sage. I found reference to a sagesetexternalchannel.gml file but it is no longer on the girder site. Anyone else have this file they can post?

Thanks (and thanks for the help earlier Andy... unfortunately I had to reload anyway)!
