Sage stops responding to remote when monitor is attached.

my sage was running great and all the suddon when i hooked up my monitor (as well as my projector) to my matrox dual head card now after sitting idle for a while the application stops responding to the remote commans from my hauppauge remote... the only button it responds to is the power button, however withot the monitor hooked up (only the projector) it works fine and never stops responding like this, any suggestions?

What does the power button do when you press it when the monitor is in use?

When using the default setup for the Hauppauge remote, it only functions when SageTV has focus, so make sure no other app is taking focus for whatever reason. Have you customized the remote's ini file in any way?

the only modifications i have done to the program is added support for the new remote, and the canadian listings from zap2it...

it works perfect if i do not attach the primary monitor...


it works fine if i restart the computer, its only if i leva eit for a length of time. when i press the power button it brings up the sage screen saver, press it agian and it bring me to the main sage menu, but no other buttons function.

It sounds like you are using fulll-screen screen saver mode & the remote is getting out of sync with the status of SageTV. Are you using keystrokes, or the ini version that sends event messages?

Try removing the {mode(Default)} command from the [SageTV] section of irremote.ini and/or see comments & links from this post and later posts.
