Deleting programs from the SageTV recordings
Is there a quick way to delete a folder of programs from the SageTV recordings list? If I highlight on top of a single program and hit delete on my keyboard, it asks me if I want to delete them. With folders, delete does nothing. I need to go in to the subdirectory and delete all the programs. This is fairly important in the early stages of training SageTV, as it records a lot of repeat programs and folderizes them - makes it much easier to delete them.
Also, I've noticed that I can't select the "Don't like" option on folders - only on individual shows. At least when starting out with SageTV, this is something that could be quite useful. For example, there's no "700 Club" program I'll ever want to watch and I just want to blacklist it. But because SageTV had an opportunity to record several showings, I have a folder before I can get to it, and must individually tell it that I don't want to record each instance of the program. Any way to make folder level "Don't like" work? Thanks! -->Neil |

I'm sure you can do this. You have to press options or the right mouse.
This brings up the options menu options are there to delete the folder i think. You can definately set the whole folder to don't like watched etc. HTH JJ |

You can do that with something like malore's version of SageTV Recordings & perhaps some other STV customizations, but it is not a part of the default STV. Right now, you have to go into each show grouping & deal with each show individually.

Forgot about that.
You do need the malore view enabled. Then you can right click in the description or the left hand panel. JJ |
