two sage clients on one pc?
Hi, I know you can have mutliple clients on one pc running to media mvp boxes, but how about mutiple clients each outputting to a different video card? and audio out card?
I am building a new system in my house and thinking aobut running vga or hdmi and stero wire to TV monitors throughout house... would be great if one computer could run multiple sage clients to output different video to different TV's. If it can be done, can it do 2? or 3? or? minimum process speed? and video card requirements for vga to a plasma? All input is greatly appreciated!

You'd most likely run in to OS issues with the video content. However, you could use multiple extenders (right now only MVPs are supported.)
You can run multiple cient instances on one PC as well; you need to use the -multi flag (I think, check the manual though). For indepth system questions, you may want to post here --> http://htpcnews.com/forums/index.php?showforum=30 |

Yes, you can run multiple instances of the client & can even set it up to play multiple videos at once. (You would have to play w/the settings since I don't remember how I configured it when I was testing doing that. I believe VMR9 won't be an option.) One issue will be how to control individual client instances, since each window has the same targets for messages or you would have issues of sending keystrokes to the one with Windows focus. You could run 1 server & 1 client, since they have different message targets. I don't know that this woudl work very well, but if you want to experiment...

Scratch all of that.. I think I found a better solution... while shopping for an mvp, I came across another media extender that does Hi Definition from Buffalo technologies.. Now I just need to get this to work as a client for sage... umm Matt, where are you? Can I ask a favor
