You could either use SageClient on the touchscreen computer or a pcanywhere type software to control the Sage server computer.

Yes, it's possible. No it's not easy.

There are lots of options todo this, one I've seen is netremote:
http://www.promixis.com/products.php

There are many others, google is your friend.

SageTV can't do this on it's own.

Nielm's webserver 1.6 includes a webremote you can use to change channels on the server. A VNC app would provide more functionality since you could see and remotely control the Sage UI on the server.

Hello Rich,

Relatively easy. Check out MainLobby and MainLobby Server at http://www.cinemaronline.com/ . With Mainlobby you can build a custom touchscreen interface to control just about anything. This is a very powerful suite, with a considerable learning curve, but building a simple touchscreen remote to control sage would not be tough. You will, of course, need to have both machines networked. You will also need girder, the girder plugin for Mainlobby server (free) and the sage .gml on the sage community site.

You should also check out the cinemar forums, they are active and the members are helpful.

Have fun,
Jesse

Hi,

I personally use Netremote. You can also use nielm's webserver remote thru it.

I use the status plugin to give me feedback to NetRemote and it also shows me what is showing and recording. together with disk usage
