Recordings too dark. Suggestions?
I just installed my Hauppauge PVR-500 MCE and SageTV today. I love it being able to watch tv while working on the pc!

The quality is watchable, but i'd guess about 20% too dark.

What should I be looking at to fix this? My Hauppauge card? My video card? Something else? (my "monitor" seems to be displaying images fine)

If other videos are the "correct" brightness, go into the Source Setup and adjust the Color Calibration for the card (you'll have to do it once for each input).

Wow, that did it! Bumped the "brightness" from about 116 to 175. Now it looks great.
