Hauppauge Remote Buttons
Hi,
I'm using the remote that comes with the Hauppauge PVR-150 to control SageTV. Most of the buttons work, like channel up/down, volume, and number buttons. The arrows, however, won't work. Even when I go into the interface and try to link the buttons, the arrows will not register. Anyone seen this before? Thanks for the help. |

Since it's the 150 remote I am guessing that it is the 45 button remote.
Here is something from Opus which will get you started in customizing your remote

If you are using v2, you want to see post #3 in the above link.
If you are using v3, it has built-in support for that remote, if you choose to install that support when you install v3. - Andy

45 Button Remote
Hi Andypoi,
I had the same problem for a while; make sure the irremote.ine file (in Windows dir) has a "SageTV" section all the way at the END. Also, if you are using Ver. 3, you have to remove "Frey Technologies" from the "Default" section and replace it with another "SageTv": In the [Default] section, set: GRNPOWER={run(C:\Progra~1\SageTV\SageTV\SageTV.exe)}{mode(SageTV)} In the [SageTV] section, set: GRNPOWER={ctrl}z{mode(Default)} This may sound dumb but make sure you press "Green Power Button" to start everything; I was using the mouse and never pressed green button and it would NOT work. Hope this helps. Randy |
