Sage does not work after PVR250 driver upgrade!

I downloaded the latest PVR 250 driver pack from ftp://ftp.shspvr.com/download/wintv-..._22301_pp2.zip and ran it according to the directions there. With the reboots and everything. I then opened up Sage and all the channels were now scrambled. When I did a system restore in XP is was all working again, so I'm pretty sure it was the drivers.

I would like to upgrade my drivers because I'm getting errors in my audio stream (per Jere Jones debug of my failing mpg file

Any ideas on how to get the new drivers to work?

thanks,

I'm pretty sure I saw something similar... I think I installed the drivers, then reinstalled sage over the top of itself... rebooted and it worked. But I do remember that the drivers by themselves seemed to freak sage out.

I would personally uninstall the drivers you have... reboot... install the new ones... reboot... check sage. If it doesn't work you'll just need to "fiddle". Hauppauge drivers seem to be a bit finicky.

I typically have to use the HWClear utility before making any changes to my 250 drivers.
